This year, the focus is on sustainable materials for all athletes, across all sports, for almost as many nations as there are medals. USA Women’s Basketball Team uniforms in an exclusive red that has the same presence as the original Dream Team jerseys. An entire collection of pants, jerseys, polos, jumpsuits and shoes for the USA, France and Brasil skateboarders as they compete in the sport’s debut on the Olympic stage. There are also new Nike Air Vapormax sneakers made with 75% manufacturing waste products from Nike factories. And then there’s the bright white Team USA 2020 Medal Stand jacket and pants outfit that somehow seamlessly blends what appears to be inspiration from both NASA and Japanese kimono design.
