Dockers has come a long way since it was just the fancy pair of pants we were forced to wear to special occasions when we were kids. The cuts are more modern. The patterns are better. The fabrics are more durable. With their new Wellthread Collection, their combining sustainable design and environmental processes to further improve the entire process of producing their shirts, jackets and pants. Buttonholes are stronger. Pockets are more durable. Locker loops were added to the khakis to make hang drying easier. The collection is dyed-to-order at factories with strong labor and environmental standards. They even developed a unique, long-staple cotton yarn to improve future recyclability. Somehow, going back to the drawing board and completely rethinking the entire production process didn’t affect pricing because everything is still extremely reasonably priced. It might be time for some style upgrades.
