Have you ever pondered why they’re called a “pair of pants,” but the store always has sales on “Insert-Label-Here Dress Pant?” Oh yeah, neither have we. We definitely did not spend a whole lunch talking about the finer points of pantaloons because that would just be weird. You know when you don’t have that problem? When you just call them chinos. Anyway, J. Crew partnered with Dickies’ to create chinos that draw on the storied brands attributes (’60s-era herringbone waistband with Dickies’ vintage red label and signature twill fabric) but add more modern, J. Crew style colors like charcoal grey and airforce blue. In other words, they’re a pair of pants that will last pretty much forever and will be on every blogger Christmas list this year. That’s ok though because they look pretty darn good.
