The second collaboration between aviation watch manufacturer AVI-8 and the watch gurus over at worn&wound is this, the AVI-8 x worn&wound WANDW2 watch. WANDW2 might be inspired by military watches from the twentieth century, but there are enough sleek and modern touches to make it completely original. Powered by a Miyota 8245 Automatic movement housed in a two-tone black PVD (mid-case) and steel (bezel and crown) case that measures 42 x 48 x 13.5mm thick, WANDW2 is big enough to be legible at all times but not huge on the wrist. The face mixes matte gray charcoal, bright white lume markers, stealth black branding and a contrasting matte black sub-seconds dial. As this is a watch you’re going to want to be wearing all the time, it also comes with two nylon Mil-Straps, Coal Model 2 Premium leather strap, strap changing tool and a cordura watch wallet to carry the entire package.
