You’d think it’d be a bad idea to mess with a classic tennis shoe like the iconic adidas Stan Smith. Crisp, simple, and timeless with its white and green colorway, it’s a standby for those who don’t even touch a racquet and can’t tell the difference between Bjorn Borg and a cyborg. Well, adidas went and melded the Stan Smith with their Superstar rapper-ready sneaker to come up with the new classic Superstan. It combines the perforated leather Stan with the clamshell rubber toe of the Superstar. The result is a fresh take on both that should appeal to a wide swath of sneaker faithful. The Superstan will get the famous Fairway Green colorway, along with red and black in case the Kermit hue just isn’t your thing.
