Adidas Recreated the Shoe From ‘The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou’

From the uniforms themselves to the skull caps and the Zissou sneakers, there were quite a few iconic style pieces from The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou that we’ve wanted to don over the years. Adidas recreated the iconic shoe from the movie and dubbed it the adidas Rom Zissou. Unfortunately, none of us are probably ever going to be able to wear them. During the We Love Green festival in Paris, adidas released 100 individually numbered pairs on the down low to coincide with the performance of musician Seu Jorge who acted in the film and contributed to the soundtrack. The replica shoe features the same gum sole, gold foil Zissou lettering, Team Zissou three stripe coloring and yellow laces all based around a white leather upper. We can’t imagine anyone ever putting up a pair on the secondary market, but if they do the price will absolutely be steep.
