Two years ago, adidas released a running shoe that got everything right. It was lightweight, flexible, and innovative in the way it returned energy with every step. Now adidas wants to one-up the Boost with the release of the Ultra Boost, and they claim it’s the greatest running shoe they’ve ever made. The new running sneakers keep the Boost cushioning technology, but a redesign improves the response by 20%. They’ve combined their PrimeKnit material on the uppers (we like) with their Torsion system and Boost cushioning on the bottom (we also like). The price is a bit steep at $180, but for serious runners these could be worth checking out when they hit stores on February 11.
