The principle behind the Eco Clip is simple enough–fold a bunch of loose paper in half and slide one of the three colors of Eco Clip (red, black, slate) over the folded paper to create your own handmade notebook. At $9 a piece for the clips it’s not cheaper than a notebook the first time around. Long term, though, it will eventually pay off because a ream of paper is pretty damn cheap. Then there’s the fact that you can customize the covers any way you want, with whatever. When you’re done with the notebook, take the paper out and digitize it, or just store it long term with the rest of your files. Fold some more paper in half and you’re ready to go again. It also looks a whole hell of a lot better than trying to staple a bunch of paper in half yourself or just using standard binder clips.
