The soon-to-be-released Sony Alpha a6000 is a glorious step up from snapping pictures with your iPhone. Sporting the world’s fastest autofocus system – Sony claims it will lock onto to your subject in just 0.06 seconds – and a new 24.3-megapixel APS-C sensor, the surprisingly affordable camera is perfect for guys who don’t want to use a point-and-shoot and don’t want to carry a bulky DSLR. It also can snap 11 shots per second and captures 1080p video at 60 and 24 frames per second. It offers smartphone remote control and the ability to share your images via NFC and Wi-Fi. Honestly, it’s going to be tough to beat at the price it will go for.
