When he was 18 and traveling through Japan studying Karate, Murray Carter had a chance encounter with a bladesmith. The rest, as they say, is history. Murray, from Halifax, would become the 17th Generation Yoshimoto Bladesmith. In this short video he talks about about his passion for crafting beautiful knives and gives you a glimpse into his studio and his process.
