This book is obviously about acclaimed director (and men’s Halloween costume idea mill) Wes Anderson, but before we get into that we’re going to talk about the book’s author, Matt Zoller Seitz. Seitz has produced, edited and directed a number of things, but he’s most known for his work as a critic (for everything from New York Magazine to RogerEbert.com. In his new book, The Wes Anderson Collection, Seitz has a feature-length conversation with Anderson that’s retold and woven with unpublished photos, artwork and ephemera. It spans the length of Anderson’s career from Bottle Rocket to Moonrise Kingdom and promises to be a pretty epic read if you’re interested in Anderson.
