The Monkey Fist is a knot that was most frequently used by sailors to serve as a rope weight or as a melee weapon. We were kind of disappointed to find out it wasn’t a secret kung fu technique, but this key chain is more useful. It makes your keys easier to fish out of your pocket or bag and easier to hang on the wall. The 1.25” rope ball could even be used to “defend yourself” from the person sitting next to you. It doesn’t really serve a purpose other than being fun, but that’s not a bad thing.
