We’re never going to get to the point where we would consider spending $500 on a pair of Rodarte socks, but losing or destroying any of your socks can be a pain in the ass. If it’s a shitty pair of athletic socks that comes in an 8+ pack from the blue big box store, then whatever. But if you’re shelling out more than $8 (figuring deal-of-the-day site price, here) you’re going to be pissed when the dryer monster, or your new pair of bucks, eats one of them. You’re in good hands with Betabrand now because they’re offering sock insurance for one year after purchase. Betabrand will replaced two single socks per pair for that first year after purchase. Upload a photo to submit a claim of your lost sock and one to claim your replacement. You have to put those pictures on Facebook, but we’ve done a lot more for less than $7 (the cost of one sock).
