We’ve been fans of vintage light fixtures for quite some time, but the price was always a huge barrier to entry for us. If we can rip down some drywall, mount brand new recessed cans and put bulbs in them for a couple hundred bucks, why should something that’s as old as we are command an equivalent price? Schoolhouse Electric & Supply finally has a lamp that’s as attractive aesthetically as it is monetarily. The Lift Lamp comes in six different finishes with five different twisted cloth cord options and an old school Edison Triple Loop light bulb. The big box alternatives that you’re probably going to pay more for anyway just aren’t anywhere near as cool as this.
