Google just doesn’t want to rule the world—they want to get in our pants. They’ve already been successful once with anyone who owns an Android phone, but that wasn’t quite enough because now they want to get in our wallets too. And frankly, we’re probably going to let them. Google Wallet replaces your over-stuffed, thick-as-hell leather wallet with a virtual one that holds most of the same stuff, including loyalty cards, credit cards, and eventually transit cards. It works anywhere a MasterCard paypass is accepted and unlike a real wallet, is password protected. Currently Google Wallet is only available on the Sprint Nexus S 4G, but will roll out on other devices soon.
