While companies have been busy cramming megapixels into their digital cameras for the last few odd years, the one thing that got left by the wayside has been style. Fujifilm seems to be the first company to realize this outside of brands like Leica. The FinePix X100 from Fujifilm combines modern technology with the old school appeal of some analog film shooters. Not only does Fujifilm get the look right, they also happen to make everything completely functional – quick access to aperture, shutter speed and exposure compensation. Mimicking the look of some retro cameras, The FinePix X100 has leather accents throughout a high-precision magnesium alloy body. Unlike your old analog unit though, The FinePix X100 has a bright, wide screen, high contrast 2.8” LCD. It’s one of the few cameras on the market that will get more praise then the pictures you take.
