Review: Nike x Hyperice HyperBoot – A Game-Changer for Foot Pain and Recovery

Check out our CM product review of the hottest product in wellness right now: the Nike x Hyperice HyperBoot. Spoiler alert -- it’s a gamechanger!

Let me start with this: I have extremely high arches, and because of it, I’ve dealt with foot pain basically since my first middle school basketball practice. My grandma used to call them “sexy feet,” but there’s nothing sexy about chronic pressure and pain in your heels and arches.

Over the years, I’ve tried it all—Epsom salt soaks, regular foot massages, toe spacers, heel inserts—you name it. Most things offer short-term relief, but never any lasting results.

So, when I heard about the new Nike x Hyperice HyperBoot—recently named one of Time’s Best Inventions of 2025—I was intrigued. Skeptical, especially given the $899 price tag, but intrigued. Compression? Sounds nice. Heat therapy? Getting warmer. Targeted vibration to improve blood flow and reduce inflammation while being able to walk around in them? Okay, I’m in.

When I first unboxed them, I wasn’t sure what to think. The HyperBoot looks more like something out of Space Jam 3 than a typical recovery device. But once I strapped them on and powered them up, everything clicked. You can feel the tech working almost immediately.

Each boot combines three main features: dynamic compression, targeted heat, and vibration therapy. Together, they boost circulation, reduce inflammation, and relax tight muscles in the feet and lower legs. But what really sets them apart is the mobility. You’re not stuck on the couch while using them—you can walk around, stretch, make breakfast, or even go through a light warm-up. It’s recovery that fits into real life.

The fit is snug but not restrictive, and the controls—whether on the boot or through the Hyperice app—are intuitive and easy to adjust. You can dial in the intensity based on how your feet and Achilles are feeling that day. And yes, they absolutely turn heads. I’m no Jayden Daniels or LeBron, but, with these things, at least I’ve been feeling springy enough to pretend.

After a month of consistent use, I can honestly say the HyperBoot has been a total game-changer. Strapping them on for 15 minutes right out of bed has me feeling light and bouncy on my morning runs and pain-free for the remainder of my day. I’ve felt so good lately that I’ve even gotten back into plyometric workouts—something I haven’t done in years.

Best of all? The chronic pain and pressure I’d resigned myself to living with? Gone.

Now that’s sexy.
