Boozehound

Every time we log on to Amazon.com, they throw all these “Products You Also Might Like” at us. Invariably, they have something to do with the female form, booze, sports and/or military history, shaving cream, and feather headdresses. We’re not sure what Amazon was smoking with the headdresses, but otherwise they’ve got us pinned down. Take their most recent suggestion: Boozehound, a book that chronicles one man’s trip to the corners of the earth in search of new experiences with arcane spirits and liquors. The author, Jason Wilson, inserts interesting historical anecdotes about the spirits he encounters, gives recipes for drinks you’ve assuredly never had, and he keeps an entertaining travelogue describing the places he visits. A must read for any guy.
