If the modern Range Rover is too slick and too techy for your vintage tastes, feast your eyes on this vintage version that was built to take on the 1991 Paris-Moscow-Beijing Rally. Sadly, that event never took place, but the Range Rover was entered in the 1991 Pharaohs’ Rally in Egypt and won its class. It also ran in the famous 1993 Paris-Dakar Rally. In 1995, the SUV operated as the Paris-Dakar Rally’s press vehicle that ran some of the course for media coverage. The famous Range Rover is clad in bright blue paint and comes with all the requisite rally sponsor decals, hood-mounted driving lights, skid plates, and what appears to be the original wheels. The car has been restored to its rally condition, and it just sold for just north of 60 grand, which seems like a bargain for a truly unique vehicle.
