The long-range pickup truck of e-bikes is here, and it’s called the Åik. Built for distance hauling, the Åik can be equipped with up to three batteries for an astounding and saddle sore-inducing 224 miles of range. It can reach speeds of up to 20 mph, and the 74 lb-ft of torque means it can get off-the line quickly and haul stuff too cumbersome for arms. Use the Åik’s racks to transport oodles of gear, and you can even add seats and other accessories to customize it to your heart’s desire. It also has three ride modes and a walk-assist mode. You’ll also appreciate the chunky step-through frame because you’re not gonna want to lift your legs after riding two centuries plus.
