We wouldn’t ordinarily consider Queen frontman Freddie Mercury a car guy, but this Rolls-Royce says otherwise. Okay, so he actually didn’t have a driver’s license and spent most of his time being chauffeured around in it, but that’s what fame does to you. Purchased in 1979, Mercury was so pumped about the car, it was used as the home base for the signing of their EMI/Elektra contracts. The silver-on-blue Rolls was used to ferry Freddie around until his death in 1991 and has 62k miles on the odo. It could use some love and attention to bring it back to its glory, but it counts as a serious piece of rock ‘n’ roll history. This very car will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s on November 5th with all proceeds going to the Superhumans Center, a charity that provides aid to wartorn Ukraine.
