Who would’ve thought that the next true ground-up BMW M vehicle would be a hybrid, high-performance SUV? Not since the legendary M1 supercar left in 1981 has the German brand built a pure M car. Introducing the XM, a Super-SUV with a monstrous output of 653 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. The powertrain is a 4.4-liter M TwinPower Turbo V8 paired with an electric motor. 0-60 comes in 4.1 seconds, and the all-electric mode provides up to 55 miles of range. There will even be a Label Red XM with 748 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque, the most powerful M car ever made. The styling is angular and dramatic on the outside with a futuristic and driver-focused cockpit. The XM also gets a huge BMW Curved Display, a unique angular headliner, rear lounge seats, 100-LED ambient lighting, and rich materials throughout. You can pre-order one now.
