The Nike x Tom Sachs General Purpose Shoe collaboration was one of the most anticipated releases when it was first announced. While the purported goal of the collab was to eschew hype in favor of simplicity, fans couldn’t get enough of the understated yet stylish sneaker. Now, the two have returned to the General Purpose Shoe with a second, bolder colorway.
Dubbed “Archive,” this release features bright yellow throughout with white on the accent details and laces. Like the original sneakers, the Archive versions sport rugged design elements that echo Nike’s athletic sneakers along with a gum rubber midsole, a waffle-style outsole tread, and pull tabs in traffic cone orange.
The Archive General Purpose Shoes are slated to release on September 2nd at 10 AM EST for $110.
