You may know Robert Spangle as the voice (and eye) behind his account Thousand Yard Style, but his other venture, The Observer Collection, is just as interesting to me. Creating EDC gear and bags for long-haul usage, Spangle has built a tight collection of goods that are as functional as they are Instagrammable.
The Papa Wallet is one such example. You can tell the conscious design from this piece comes only from a seasoned traveler. It’s made to fit a passport, cards, some bills, and even a pen (a bit of fun detailing: the back exterior pocket was made to be sized specifically for Paris metro stubs). What you see here is a small bit of real estate that packs a versatile punch, giving anyone the ability to feel – even fleetingly – as cool as Robert.
