In an act of pure decadence, Bowmore has teamed up with Aston Martin on a truly futuristic Scotch Whisky release. Arc-52 is a blend of single malt whiskies aged for 52 years in a sherry butt and an American oak ex-Bourbon hogshead barrel. Bottled at 42.3% ABV, this deeply rich and mature Scotch offers notes of vanilla, citrus, and tobacco.
But the real selling point of this luxurious collaboration is the packaging. Housed in a decanter that looks more like a spaceship than a whisky bottle, Arc-52 is sculptural in design and demonstrates the artistry of distillers and car manufacturers working in tandem.
The Bowmore x Aston Martin Arc-52 Scotch release is limited to just 100 bottles and is priced at $125,000.
