In what might just be the coolest name this side of an F-150 Raptor, the new Rattler is actually at the other end of the price spectrum. Using the base XL trim, the Rattler adds the off-road-ready FX4 package with its skid plates, beefy all-terrain tires, off-road shocks, a locking rear differential, and hill descent control. It also happens to look way more sinister than a standard F-150 thanks to a dual exhaust system, black 18″ aluminum wheels, Rattler badging, and a reptilian-inspired interior theme with scaled onyx seat inserts and burnished bronze accents. The Rattler will go on sale in the latter part of 2022 as a 2023 model. No pricing has been announced yet, but it will probably cost a little bit more than the F-150 XL with the FX4 off-road package.
