Don’t miss out on the red LED watch bandwagon because this horological segment is hot. Versions from Girard-Perregaux, Bulova, and Pulsar are now joined by French watchmaker Yema’s LED Kavinsky. The brand launched France’s first LED watch back in the ’70s, and now the LED Kavinsky emerges from a collaboration with electronic music artist Kavinsky 50 years after the original watch hit the scene. The watch’s multi-faceted brushed and polished hexagonal case is clad in silver or black, and the red LED readout is front and center. Pushing the side button activates the time display, and it remains in standby mode when it’s not being viewed. The matching integrated bracelet gets a Kavinsky branded clasp, and the caseback shows the collaboration names and the limited edition number. It bows on Kickstarter on March 18th.
