It takes some testicular fortitude to pull off an Urwerk timepiece on your wrist. To wear one is tantamount to strapping on a tiger’s head as a bike helmet. The new UR-112 Aggregat Odyssey is an updated version of its super-complex UR-112, this time in titanium and steel, a tad different from the original’s all-titanium construction. The beefy 42mm x 51mm x 16mm case dimensions remain the same. The unique time-telling method incorporates cylindrical sapphire windows (not completely unlike those flip desk clocks from the ’70s) for the hours and minutes, and you can deploy the lid for seconds and power reserve reading. The movement is an-in house jumping digital hour UR-13.01 automatic, which has a power reserve of 48 hours. The price? Think nice condo.
