Norwegian tech company Fresco has designed a slippery 1,000-km electric vehicle that has all-wheel drive, a huge cabin, and more of a pod shape than that of a traditional car. Each axle has its own electric motor, and it will even have some off-road capability. While the Fresco XL looks like a gigantic computer mouse, the design is purposeful and provides ample passenger and cargo space. What’s more, the Fresco XL can be used as a power source for your home or cabin thanks to its big battery pack. The floor-mounted flat battery also enables the Fresco XL to be used as sleeping quarters when its seats are folded flat, a feature not available by any other EV maker. Fresco is taking orders now.
