Apparently, it’s just not enough for the blue oval brand to build the badass 315-horsepower Bronco that has a waiting list as long as your arm. Ford just unveiled the 2022 Bronco Raptor that levels up the Bronco in pretty much every conceivable way. It’s powered by a 400+ horsepower twin-turbo 3.0L EcoBoost engine with special race-ready tuning. It also comes replete with 13.1 inches of ground clearance, a Ford Performance-designed modular steel front bumper, Fox HOSS suspension with Live Valve technology, a dual-exhaust system with selectable exhaust modes, heavy-duty bash and skid plates, reinforced pillars, and Bronco DR race truck competition-grade axles. So, basically, it’s the toughest, most powerful Bronco ever made. Big black fender trim, a Raptor-specific grille, and plenty of exterior LED lighting elements set it apart from the standard Bronco’s looks. The cabin gets specially treated with a new Performance View feature on the instrument cluster, Raptor steering wheel with magnesium paddle shifters, marine-grade sport seats, Code Orange accents, and special Raptor logos. The new Bronco Raptor should show up for sale in March at just under $70k.
