The Tacoma pickup has a huge cult following, but it’s about to get more fans by way of a ’70s-look camper known as the Tacozilla. It melds a new Tacoma TRD Sport with a new back end camper for the 2021 SEMA show in Vegas. Tacozilla designers didn’t want the camper to look clunky or detract from the Taco TRD’s great off-road capability. Those are both tall orders, but it looks like they pulled it off with an access cab that actually replaces the bed and even articulates in off-road situations. All of the corners of the camper have been rounded off for a more modern look that juxtaposes the throwback orange, yellow, and brown colorway. Inside, you’ll find a full bathroom, toilet, shower, full kitchen, dining table, and sleeping quarters. It’s even tall enough for six-footers to walk through. It’s just a one-off show truck for now, unfortunately, but what an awesome one it is.
