The flagship Land Rover Range Rover hasn’t been redesigned since back in 2012, so it only makes sense for the new 2022 Range Rover to come out guns blazing. Although it’s unmistakably a Range Rover with that classic shape, the new model adds a healthy does of the future, nifty all-wheel steering, and finally a much-needed third row for the long-wheelbase model. The body is sleeker than ever with nearly flush surfaces all around, and the interior luxury and tech are commensurate with the new look. Two engine choices include a 395-hp 6-cylinder turbo with a mild hybrid setup, and then there’s the twin-turbo V8 good for 523 horses. Down the road, there will be a plug-in hybrid model and a full-electric one, as well. Other fancy features include a new infotainment system with a 13.1-inch screen in the center stack, a 35-speaker Meridian premium sound system with noise-canceling, and power-close doors. Upgrade with twin 11.4-inch touchscreens for the rear passengers, and you’re a rolling tech center. Of course, we expect nothing but top-tier off-road capability that’s legendary with the Range Rover. Pricing starts at $104,000 and you can pre-order one now. There’s no word on delivery date, but the wait should prove to be worth it.
