Bose QuietComfort 45 Headphones Are Back

Noise-canceling headphone technology was originally created in the 1950s, but it didn’t really become commercially available until Bose dropped it on the public with their Series I Aviation Headset. The Bose QuietComfort 45 Headphones are a fair bit removed and far more advanced than the pair that got this train started. But the brand continues to innovate and iterate in order to stay on top of the world of noise-canceling headphones. And this latest iteration is the perfect example of how far they’ve come. As they put it, “It all starts with our Acoustic Noise Cancelling™ technology, the result of more than 50 years of research. We use tiny microphones hidden in the earcups to continuously measure, compare, and react to outside noise. That noise is then canceled with an opposite signal, resulting in fewer distractions — and more of your music. Use the button on the left earcup to choose from Quiet Mode for full noise cancelling, or Aware Mode to let in some of your surroundings.”

They’re easy to use, easier to operate, and they sound as good as promised. If you’re only going to invest in one pair of headphones, these are the ones you should be buying. The Bose QuietComfort 45 Headphones are scheduled to ship near the end of September, but you can pre-order your pair today via the link below.
