Spider-Man: No Way Home is arguably one of the most anticipated releases in Marvel’s upcoming slate of movies. And, comic book movie fans got a first look after the movie’s trailer was apparently leaked and subsequently officially released by Marvel and Sony. Spider-Man: No Way Home appears to pick up right after the events of Far From Home in which Spider-Man’s identity as Peter Parker was revealed to the world. The upcoming film, which has a theatrical release date of December 17th in the US, sees Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, paired alongside Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. The trailer appears to reveal the central plot point of the movie which will see Doctor Strange attempt to wipe the public memory of Spider-Man’s identity reveal. Of course, things go awry and, as has been speculated heavily by fans, the movie reveals the wider multiverse of Marvel. The trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home didn’t reveal Toby Maguire or Andrew Garfield who have both been rumored to appear as their cinematic versions of Spider-Man. But we did get a hint of other supervillains like Green Goblin as well as the first look at Alfred Molina reprising his role as Doctor Octopus. With mind-bending visuals, fast-paced action, and that patented Marvel charm, Spider-Man: No Way Home promises to be an exciting continuation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
