If you’ve ever wondered what a modern interpretation of the classic Audi Quattro S1 World Rally car would look like, wonder no more. A German firm named ELegend plans to build the EL1, an electric sports coupe that looks like a smoothed-out version of the Quattro. The good thing is that it won’t just look like it, the EL1 will be righteously quick thanks to its 90-kWh battery, four driven wheels, and 805 horsepower. It will hit 62 mph from a standstill in 2.8 seconds and top out at 158 mph. The all-electric range will be 248 miles, so it could easily be your daily commuter, as well. The big, staggered 19″ front and 20″ rear wheels, coupled with the muscular haunches and steeply raked greenhouse, the EL1 looks as good, if not better, than the original. Only 30 cars will be made for just over a million bucks apiece.
