This year–more than any other–a change of season is a reason for excitement. There’s something innately human about anticipating the shift in the weather, looking forward to different temperatures, different sports, different activities. And this fall, more than ever, we’re ready for some kind of shift from the simultaneous monotony, chaos and nonsense that 2020 has delivered to us so far. At the very least, the advent of ski season means that we’ll get to participate in sports that require masks on every day of the year, so things won’t feel quite so weird.
