Since many of us are still home, we decided to do some digging to find useful products to help stay productive, occupied, entertained and fit while you’re At Home.
More than half a century ago–in 1967, if you want exact numbers–the Stylophone was invented. In case you’re unfamiliar, the Stylophone is a miniature analog stylus-operated “keyboard” that’s most famous for being used by David Bowie on “Space Oddity” and getting approximately five frames of screen time during one of the Best Films of the Last Decade, Baby Driver. Yeah, sure, it’s insanely cool this instrument has been used by the likes of Bowie, Kraftwerk and Erasure, but honestly, we don’t care about any of that because it’s just so much damn fun to play with. It’s a tiny, portable, stylus-operated synthesizer you can take almost anywhere to make music, compose jams or just amuse yourself while you’re waiting for the bus / uber / dog / significant other / the list goes on and on. We’re willing to bet this is the most fun you can have over a sustained period for thirty-five bucks–even if none of your musical creations ever see the light of day.
