This is the kind of outlaw build you don’t see often, and you wonder how few requests there are for a vintage MGA roadster to be reworked to this level of specification. This particular MGA outlaw build comes courtesy of the Petersen Automotive Museum. The 1961 MGA received a full frame-off restoration in the true sense of the term. Everything was taken apart down to the last bolt and then crafted to as-new condition. The roadster also received more power for the 1.6-liter four-cylinder, disc brakes at all four corners, and then it received all-new suspension componentry. The beautiful black on red MGA with period-correct wire wheels will hit the auction block on September 26th via Bring-A-Trailer. The winner will also receive driving instruction from former race car driver Bruce Canepa in a Porsche 935 at Sonoma Raceway, as well as a six-night stay at a Scottish castle served by a private chef and a full house staff.
