Samsung’s Latest Galaxy Z Flip Phone Has 5G

As much as we love the convenience of having access to everything with a simple finger touch authenticated by face recognition, we still long for the simpler, smaller days of flip phones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has all the convenience of a modern Android smartphone while still being small enough when folded to not give you carpal tunnel when you’re using it. This latest iteration of their hit Galaxy Z Flip is the first device in their lineup to be powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 865 Plus 5G Mobile Platform which maximizes the power of 5G to deliver faster and more efficient on-device processing with sharper imagery through improved graphics rendering. It also features a 6.7″ FHD+ AMOLED display with 2636×1080 resolution and 425ppi of pixel density, a 1.1″ AMOLED cover display, a 10MP and 12MP front-facing camera, a 12MP rear camera, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 3,300mAh battery, and fingerprint sensor and face recognition authentication. In short, it’s probably the most advanced flip phone ever produced. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be available in Mystic Gray and Mystic Bronze colorways through all the usual carriers and stores on August 7th starting at a price of $1,449.99.
