Lotus Elise Classic Heritage Editions

The Lotus Elise ended its production run back in 2011, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a brand new one now. Lotus has just unveiled its version of the light and nimble Elise sports car with special homage colors in classic racing livery from its illustrious past. The four versions include the iconic black and gold from Emmerson Fittipaldi’s five-time-winning 1972 Type 72D F1 car; the blue, red, and silver colorway from the 1980 Lotus Type 81 driven by Mario Andretti, Nigel Mansell, and Elio de Angelis; the red, white and gold from the 1968 Type 49B driven by Graham Hill; and finally, the two-tone blue and white scheme from the first Lotus F1 car to win the race in Monaco, the 1960 Type 18. Interiors get colorful upgrades, as well. Lotus even decided to provide once optional features like air conditioning, cruise control, radio, carpeting, and floor mats, two-piece brake rotors, and forged wheels as standard equipment. For a little extra, you can get an optional targa-style hardtop, a lithium-ion battery, and a titanium exhaust.
