$31 Million Worth of Exotic Cars Up for Auction

$31 Million Worth of Exotic Cars Up for Auction

One of the finest car collections in recent memory will go on the auction block, and all because an Elkhart, Indiana CEO went bankrupt due to fraud. Najeeb Khan, the former CEO of payroll firm Interlogic Outsourcing Inc., was accused of $100 million worth of fraud and has to sell his massive car collection to help pay for the colossal level of debt. His 281-vehicle collection consists of such rarities as a Lamborghini Miura, a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, an Aston Martin DB5, a Bentley 3 Litre (upgraded to 4.5), a 1952 Ferrari 225 S Berlinetta, and even a Ford GT once owned by Wayne Gretzky. The Gullwing will fetch upwards of $2 million alone. There are also unique and somewhat obscure offerings such as a Hudson Fire Truck and a Steyr Daimler Puch all-terrain vehicle. What has become known as the “Elkhart Collection” goes up for auction almost entirely without reserve on October 23rd and 24th via RM Sotheby’s.
