The card game UNO is some of the most fun you can have with a deck of cards when there isn’t gambling involved. The almost half a century old game has remained pretty much the same since it’s creation, but now it’s getting a face lift courtesy of Brazilian design Warleson Oliveira. The new UNO Minimalista deck that Oliveira designed utilizes a striking design that combines bright colors with minimalist text or illustrations on the player side and a sharp black background on the back side. Oliveira had no plans to produce the deck when he shared his creation on Behance, but someone from Mattel found the project and decided to put it into production. The new version plays exactly the same with its Skip, Reverse, Draw and Wild cards, but UNO Minimalista looks a lot better than its predecessor. The UNO Minimalista deck will be available soon at a suggested retail price of $10.
