Switch eScrambler Electic Motorcycle

Switch eScrambler Electic Motorcycle

Matthew Waddick of Shanghai Customs knows a thing or two about what it takes to make a great electric motorcycle. Their Honda Cub Electric Conversion is a great example of this, but even that machine pales in comparison to the eScrambler from his newly launched venture Switch Motorcycles. The Switch eScrambler Electric Motorcycle is based on the Shanghai Customs eTracker concept with a beefier power plant and internals, along with a more sleek design courtesy of former Yamaha designer Michael Riis. Beneath the exterior of what might be the best-looking electric bike yet is a 50kW (67hp) electric motor good for a top speed of 93 mph and a 0-62 mph time of just over 3 seconds. Those absurd production performance numbers don’t really affect the range either because it has a real-world distance of up to 93 miles. In addition to all of that is a central mono shock, KTM forks, 18″ wheels, integrated GPS, built-in Wi-Fi and all the other tech bells and whistles.
