This hilarious, albeit still creepy stop motion LEGO trailer for a nearly 40-year old film feels fresh and rightly timed before the “Doctor Sleep” sequel hits this November. Brilliantly and meticulously created by YouTuber kreimkouk, who has done his fair share of LEGO trailers, LEGO The Shining has 2,130 stop motion shots in its 2:48 running time. It includes the drive to the Overlook Hotel with its iconic carpet, the scary twins, a very creative naked Mrs. Massey in the very green and yellow Room 237 bathroom, and the famous “Here’s Johnny” scene, just to name a few. It’s so good, it may even make you want to watch the original again. Maybe.
