Want to up your Cool Uncle cred while simultaneously teaching all your nieces and nephews the importance of the alphabet? We can’t believe we’re about to say this, but Metallica can help. We’re not saying that the decades old track “Enter Sandman” was some sort of foreshadowing, but Metallica has just released details on an upcoming children’s book title The ABCs of Metallica. Co-authored by Howie Abrams and illustrated by Metallica collaborator Michael “Kaves” McLeer, The ABCs of Metallica looks back at the history of the band through every letter of the alphabet as they journeyed from Garage Days to Master of Puppets. The ABCs of Metallica hits shelves and online book stores on November 26, 2019 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting their charity All Within My Hands, a foundation that “aims to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities that have supported the band for years.”
