Buell Motorcycles is both a great success story, as well as a brand that’s no longer making motorcycles. Former Harley-Davidson engineer Erik Buell, who founded Buell, however, is making a comeback with a new EV company called Fuell, who will build electric bikes and motorcycles in partnership with Frédéric Vasseur, CEO of Sauber Motorsport. Their first moto will be the Flow, which will come in two formats. The first is a tame 11kW-powered version, and then there will come a more potent model with a 35kW electric motor. Both bikes will share similar looks with a brand-wide black, gray, and green colorway and a simple but futuristic look thanks to a smooth fairing, floating seat, and a solid rear disc wheel that houses the motor and drive system. Fuell wants to sell the Flow in 2021 for an asking price of about $11,000, which is way cheaper than Harley-Davidson’s upcoming electric bike and a bit of a fly in Harley’s ointment since they’re the ones who ended the Buell brand.
