You know how much we love our notebooks and old school pen and paper note-taking here at Cool Material. But when you’re sitting at your desk in front of the computer and knocking items off the to-do list, it can be difficult to find the right spot for a notebook when a keyboard, mouse or or other desktop accessories are in the way. That changes with the Sidekick Notebook. Designed by Tan Mavitan Studio, the Sidekick Notebook has an angled spine that allows it to unfold into an L-shape and nestle easily into the corner of anything square on your desk. Each hardcover Sidekick Notebook includes 160 sheets of 90 gr acidfree paper with a familiar dot grid pattern that’s perfect for notes, sketches or doodles. At a little over 8″ long it’s not exactly convenient to carry around in a pocket everyday, but when it comes to taking notes at the desk during conference calls, video chats or throughout the average workday, it’s great. The Sidekick Notebook is available in black, light grey, navy blue and red.
