4K Grill by Heston Blumenthal x Everdure

For die-hard outdoor chefs, cooking on a grill is a year-round love affair, but no one will deny it takes work when it comes to using charcoal. The flavor results are undeniable, but the technology is still stone-age. Triple Michelin-Star British chef Heston Blumenthal has just changed all that with the 4K, built in partnership with Australia’s Everdure Grills. The name and the design come from 4,000-year old Kamado-style and ceramic clay cooking. But don’t call this thing ancient since it’s constructed of thick, high-grade metals, fires up coals via push-button ignition, and can be controlled with the smartphone app or a touchscreen glass display. Perhaps the most brilliant aspect is the maximized airflow that can be controlled precisely through calibrated vents for quick adjustment. The 4K can also be used as a smoker or as a slow cooker, as a result. You may never use your kitchen again.
