Discommon Goods has always impressed with their collection of, well, discommon goods. They have a unique way of taking a familiar product and completely flipping the product on its head with different construction methods, materials and designs. The original Thermoformed Card Wallet and the upgraded version 2.0 you see here are the perfect examples of this. Unlike traditional stitched wallets, these wallets are built with a combination of leather laminating and thermoforming (basically, heating the material and then forming it around a mold) to create something sleek and stylish that’s unlike anything else on the market. The Thermoformed Card Wallet 2.0 is made with a combination of an Italian calf hide exterior and Japanese microsuede interior in three different colorways: navy blue with lime highlights, black with yellow highlights, and brown with orange highlights. They even built in a hidden RFID-blocking layer on one side of the wallet to protect you from identity theft.
