In case you weren’t paying attention, the Beastie Boys Book just came out, and it’s one of our best new books for fall. While we wouldn’t normally purchase an audiobook for a hardcover we own, we’re about to make an exception, as the audiobook features an incredible cast of narrators. As expected, Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz and Michael “Mike D” Diamond are featured prominently, along with founding member Kate Schellenbach. In a fitting tribute to all things Beastie Boys, this is where it gets interesting. Here are just a few of the incredible guests lending their talents to the audiobook: Wes Anderson, Steve Buscemi, Bobby Cannavale, Jarvis Cocker, Elvis Costello, Chuck D, Jeff Tweedy, Will Ferrell, LL Cool J, Spike Jonze, Talib Kweli, Bette Midler, Mix Master Mike, Nas, Amy Poehler, John C. Reilly, Rev Run, Jon Stewart, Ben Stiller, Wanda Sykes and Snoop Dogg. Yeah, it’s that good.
